The name “back room” comes from the fact that usually, not everyone was allowed to go to the back room – it was for family members only. There, they treated themselves and rested from the day’s work, voices were kept down, and the privacy of other family members was respected.

The silent sauna back room of the Mäetaguse von Rosen spa is a sauna area that opened at the beginning of October 2018. The area is meant for adults only and can be used for 3 hours!

There are 4 different saunas hidden in the back room:

• 60˚ sanarium
• 40˚ salt sauna
• 80˚ aroma sauna
• 40˚ sauna with tropical rain

In addition, there is a jacuzzi in the atrium and cosy circular loungers, which have become very popular among customers. A visit to the silent back room also includes using the bathhouse so that the guests can enjoy the pleasures of 7 different saunas.
